Report on IEEE Information Theory Society Guangzhou Chapter

The IEEE Information Theory Society Guangzhou Chapter was founded in November 2019, after the success of 2018 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, and won the Chapter-of-the-Year Award in 2021. The Chapter was established with a mission of proliferating information theory research in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and South China at large. This report reviewed in detail the academic conferences organized by the Chapter since its establishment, and looked forward to its future work.
